The Montana Zugerberg Institute opened its doors in 1926, in the former Grand Hotel Schonfels building. Since its inauguration, its founder, Mr. Max Hussman, has constantly tried to implement his educational ideals - individual study, internationalism and integration. The school is accredited by the International Schools Committee and educates students from more than 30 different nationalities and cultures. One of the main missions of the school collective is to prepare students for positions of responsibility in society. Most graduates receive leadership positions in the fields. of commerce, science and art.
