St. John's International School is part of the Inspired organization, which brings together over 32 schools worldwide. The school is located in central Belgium, in the historic suburbs of Waterloo, 15 km south of the center of Brussels. Currently, it trains 600 children from 56 countries of different ages. The training is in English, with the IB program in the 8th, 9th and 10th grades, and the last two years in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. Over 90% of them finish high school with excellent results and continue their higher education at prestigious universities. The base is modern and offers excellent training and extracurricular activities, as well as an excellent opportunity to practice a variety of sports and arts. Among the most popular sports in high school are: swimming, football, softball, tennis, golf, athletics, volleyball and basketball. There is a contemporary art center, which includes a 400-seat theater, a dance studio, music halls and rehearsal halls. Sports teams have won prizes in various regional and international tournaments. The school has various clubs of interest, modeled on the UN and NATO. Students participate in the Olympics in mathematics, science and economics, organize expeditions and educational trips.
Accommodation
As of September 2018, a new modern campus has been opened, with a capacity for 30 students aged 14-18. Girls and boys will be accommodated in separate wings. There is a common living room, dining room, laundry and study rooms. Full board is offered. Breakfast and dinner are served in the dining room of the house, and lunch is served in the school canteen. Inpatient students can use all facilities and facilities on the school campus.
Academic programs:
- IB middle years (14 - 15 years)
- IB Diploma (16-18 years)
Between July 1 and 27, foreign language vacations are organized for children between the ages of 10 and 18 years. The training is in English and is divided into 20 classes per week.
The school offers excellent conditions for those who want to play tennis. Depending on the age, students can practice two or three tennis checks per day. Optionally, students can participate in other organized sports or art activities.
