UCLan is one of the largest universities in the country, with 32,000 students, and aims to provide an excellent experience to each of them. The university is ranked in the top 10 modern universities in the country, while seven areas ranked in the top 25% of the country in the last national student survey (2012).
In 2010, UCLan became the first modern university to appear in the QS World University Rankings and continues to do so; was awarded a maximum of five stars for the quality of its didactic offer from QS Stars Development Road Map. UCLan is in the top three nationally for the number of graduates who started their own businesses immediately after completing their studies. All the courses have a standard of employment, among which we find some interesting ones, such as: the first UK degree program in Airport Security Management, which was developed in collaboration with the police and the aviation industry.
