Adriane Marriott-Mills, Falmouth University
Adriane Marriott-Mills has over 15 years of experience helping young people to progress to higher education and achieve their potential. She is an experienced and qualified teacher and lecturer and has led many projects focussed on helping learners to find the right learning pathways to achieve their career and progression goals, maximise their learning potential and succeed. After spending 10 years working in the further education sector in community development, she turned her energy to project management acting strategic lead for a university consortium widening participation in higher education project for 6 years. She has also worked in the private sector supporting international schools to use web-based learning materials to enhance attainment and work beyond the curriculum. Adriane worked at Falmouth University for 2.5 years, supporting young people to progress to Falmouth University and to understand course content and requirements, enhance their employability and understand the creative industries jobs landscape. She also works with teachers and advisors to support them to offer quality advice and guidance to their students, make successful applications to the University and to understand changing skills requirements and developments in the creative industries.

Tatjana Maier, Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences
For almost three years now, Tatjana has been supporting international prospective students and international degree-seeking students at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. A member of the Center for International Students, she advises prospective students regarding the admission requirements, the application process and possible financial aid.

In her previous job, Tatjana worked for a private student counselling service and helped students with the organization of their study abroad semester at universities among the USA, Europe and Latin America. 
Due to her own academic experiences in the USA and Spain, she understands that the beginning of studying abroad can be challenging but that it can also be the most rewarding experience one can make.  

“Studying abroad has made an important impact in my life. I have become more tolerant and open-minded. My biggest motivation in my current job is that I can give back to young people and contribute to their international student experience in a very positive way!”

Chris Osbourn, St. Clare’s, Oxford
After studying Anthropology at university, Chris joined the Admissions Department at the University of Cambridge and later worked in Admissions, Marketing and student recruitment at King’s College London. He joined St. Clare’s, Oxford in 2004 as the Admissions Registrar with the aim of increasing student numbers and the diversity of nationalities at St. Clare’s, the oldest IB school in England. St. Clare’s now has one of the largest IB Diploma courses in the UK in terms of student numbers and the subjects being offered. It also has students from over 40 different countries, making it a truly international school. Although he has been at St. Clare’s for 15 years, Chris still greatly enjoys the international and academically stimulating environment and he is strongly motivated by his belief in the educational benefits and strengths of the IB Diploma course.

Mark Silverstein, College Saint Charles
Mark Silverstein has worked for 3 international schools in the last two decades including Saint Charles, Institut Florimont and Aiglon College. With a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Hofstra University and a Masters of Public Administration from New York University, Mark has worked in several countries from the US to Belgium, Spain and Switzerland and he is the recipient of an award from the American Red Cross for his work during the 9/11 disaster relief operations. He has also served on several boards of NGOs and currently is the vice chairman of Pre Fleuri Alpine International school.
