Students have the opportunity for covering the tuition fee with a student loan for the entire bachelor’s degree period and up to GBP 10,609 for their master’s degree. The loan is administrated by Student Loans Company, a non-profit government organization that provides students with loans and options to finance their studies in England and Wales.
Eligibility Criteria
- Citizenship of an EU country
- Residence in an EU country for the last 3 years
- Full-time student
- No previous master's degree - for a master's loan
Application Process:
- Apply in the spring of the year the degree course begins
- It is compulsory for the candidates to have chosen a university to study at.
- Documents are submitted on paper to Student Loans Company
Repayment plan and conditions:
- successful completion of education
- working position of employment contract
- a minimum annual income of GBP 25,000 if a student works in the UK
