For about 25 years, César Ritz Colleges Switzerland have contributed to international excellence in the field of hotel tourism management. In 1986, the César Ritz Foundation and Monique Ritz, daughter of the well-known César Ritz, agreed that their colleges be called "César Ritz" - a name also recognized by the famous hotel chain and the fact that occupies the first place in the hotel domain.
Cesar Ritz Colleges is an international leader in hotel education, offering a wide variety of university programs at different levels. The possibilities of transfer between colleagues highlight the fact that there is a totally different approach, also allowing students to work in the hotel sector through internships organized during their studies. An important role in Swiss professional tradition combined with American management methods is that the university adheres to international educational concepts in all programs offered; also the launch of the transfer program set up in 1985 in collaboration with Washington State University led to the implementation of university programs. This collaboration has been extended to other universities over time.
