Initially funded as Falmouth School of Art in 1902, the university is nowadays one of the most specialized arts universities in the world. Among those who have supported the institution there are Peter Lanyon, Bernard Leach and Dame Barbara Hepworth. During the past decades, Falmouth has been leading the educational system.
