It has university campuses in Eindhoven, Tilburg and Venlo and offers 28 university degree programs and 9 master programs in English in the fields of information technologies, economics, social sciences, education and public health.

The name of the Fontys University comes from the Latin word "Fons" which means "source". Fontys aims to be an inexhaustible source of knowledge, inspiration, development and innovation for its students. The teaching staff counts approx. 4,000 people. They train over 38,000 students and provide advice to over 15,000 officials from companies and international organizations. The largest Fontys campuses are in Eindhoven, Tilburg, Venlo and Sittard, and the smallest - in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Hertogenbosch and Roermond.
