Tuition fees 2020-2021
License program: € 2,143 / year *
For the academic year 2020-2021, students benefit from a 50% discount for the first year of study (exclusive).
Master's program: starting with 2,143 € / year
Funding for higher education studies in the Netherlands comprises 4 components: a tuition loan, a student loan, an additional grant and a student travel subscription.
1. Tuition Fee loan
It can be accessed by Romanian students after registration at the municipality / town hall in the Netherlands and fully covers the costs of the tuition fee.
2. Study Loan approximately 900 € / month.
The interest will not exceed 4% (at this time the interest is 0.1%). The loan is repaid for 35 years from the moment of completing the studies.
Romanian students must meet the following eligibility conditions:
• to work at least 56 hours / month in the Netherlands;
• start a bachelor's or master's degree program in the Netherlands.
3. Additional grant (Study grant): maximum 300 € / month
A student applying for option 2 (Study Loan) can also access the additional grant (Study Grant) offered by the Dutch state.
This financial support is not reimbursed if the student completes the studies in maximum 10 years.
As this financial aid is directly linked to Study Loan 2, the student must work for at least 56 hours / month and the parents' incomes should be below 30,000 - 40,000 € / year.
4. Travel subscription - OV-chipkaart
Students who will apply for financing options 2 and 3 are eligible to access the free travel pass - OV-chipkaart. The eligibility conditions being: to work min. 56 h / month, to be under 30 years old, and to complete the studies in maximum 10 years.
