The University pays special attention to the fact that students need to spend a certain amount of time studying abroad. All of them learn new languages such as: Dutch, German, French or Spanish. The guest lecturers and the international relations with different companies and higher education institutions all over the world contribute to the multinational reputation of the study programmes. HAN University of Applied Sciences has formed a partnership with more than 70 universities all over the world, among which are the University of Windsor (Canada), Kingston University (United Kingdom), University of Sunderland (United Kingdom, University of Wisconsin (USA). A diverse programme for extracurricular activities has been developed so that international students could adapt more quickly.
At the same time, the University helps students to develop their flair for business, gain practical and organizational skills by working for the Student Management Association (SMA). The Association organizes meetings between the different university faculties, conversations with guest lecturers, workshops, thematic days and other. All students search for new sponsors, ideas and finally they put them into practice.
